Sanctuary - Tehachapi Community Church
There will be a showing of 1946: The Mistranslation That Shifted Culture in the TCC Sanctuary at 4:00PM on June 22nd. This is a 2022 documentary about the mistranslation during the 1946 creation of the Revised Standard Version of the Christian Bible. This misinterpretation of Ancient Greek led to cultural and religious perceptions of the LGBTQ+ community. Donations are welcome.
The showing of the film will be followed by a Baked Potato & Salad Bar in Friendship Hall. Suggested donation is $10 to benefit the Capital Campaign.
