Worship

All are welcome!

JOIN US

Worship with us at 10:30 a.m. on Sunday mornings at the corner of “E” and Green Streets, and join us for any of our fellowship activities! There is always room for you in worship, and dress is informal.  Bibles are available.  You may enter the Sanctuary through the south single door, or the double doors on “E” and Green Streets.  In inclement weather, use the single door on the south side.

Progressive theology is shared in a moving, joyful and friendly worship experience.  Each service includes a Children’s Message, hymn singing, a variety of musical selections, and inspirational readings from many sources.

Open Communion is normally served on the first Sunday of every month.  Also, on the fourth Sunday of every month we share a potluck luncheon, to which everyone is invited.  Please join us even if you have not brought a food dish to share – there is always more than enough for everyone!

An elevator chair provides Disability Access to our sanctuary.

The nursery for children ages birth through 4-years old is available upon request in the Christian Education Building (call the Church Office at 661-822-4443 if you would like to make use of the nursery on Sunday).  A Children’s Message is provided in the worship service each week. After the Children’s Message, Sunday School is provided for all children ages 3 through Grade 7.

After Sunday morning worship services, we enjoy a coffee/tea refreshment hour! We are proud of our Fair Trade Project, in which we serve (and sell limited quantities of) fairly traded coffee, tea, and chocolate from Equal Exchange.
