In addition to our ministries and programs, we are out and about and active in the community. Newcomers and neighbors are always welcome!

Sweet Recycling
Join us in Albertson’s parking lot each month and bring your recyclables or help with recyclables left at church (watch calendar for upcoming dates).  Afterwards join us at Baskin Robbins store for dutch-treat ice cream social.  Proceeds benefit the youth group.

First Fridays at Church
In coordination with the Tehachapi Museum and downtown merchants, our church offers special events the first Friday of every month from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m.  Activities for children, interesting subjects for adults. Coffee and edibles, music, art and information make for a fun evening on the town! All are welcome! Program varies monthly.

ANNUAL EVENTS – Summer & Fall

• Marketplace, Bake and Beverage Sale during Mountain Festival (August)
• Blessing of the Animals (September)
• Hogwarts Halloween Party (October) and other events as passions define.
• Alternative Holiday Gift Sale (December). Partnering with the Sierra Club and State Parks, we offer a meaningful way to give. Fair trade coffee, tea, and gifts from Equal Exchange and SERRV, adoption cards from Heifer International, and donated and handmade gifts to benefit our local Salvation Army
